Scientific paper

Free massless bosonic fields corresponding to arbitrary representations of the SO(d - 1) compact group and living in even d-dimensional anti-de Sitter space-time are investigated. We propose the free wave equations of motion, subsidiary conditions and the corresponding gauge transformations for such fields. The equations obtained are used to derive the lowest eigenvalues of the energy operator for the representations under consideration.
