This paper introduces some new designs and techniques in developing the
GPS real time clock such as automatic initial time setup, time check and
correction, parallel synchronization, hardware and software methods in
reducing interference, manual time setup and external synchronization
selection. The accuracy of the stable GPS real time clock is 85 ns.
