Results are presented from spectroscopic data covering the 0.194-day cycle for DQ Her (Nova Her 1934). Line profiles and velocities for strong features indicate different regions of formation. Stellar conjunction occurs at phase 0.04 before mid-eclipse. Probable masses of the components are 0.5 and 1.0 solar mass for the red and white dwarfs, respectively. The spectrum has unusually strong C II and C III lines.
