Spectrograms of the central stars of the planetary nebulae NGC 246, He
2-131, and He 2-138 are described. Variations have been found in the
spectra of the first two stars. The central star of He 2-138 has a BC0
Ib spectrum; this is the first case of a low-mass star showing 'OBC'
characteristics.
