Results of many year long spectral monitoring of 2 radio-loud AGN: 3C390.3 and NGC 4151 are discussed. For 3C.390.3, there is observational evidence of connection between variations in UV and optical continua and radio-jet inner structure. It may be figured out that during the nucleus maximal brightness periods a significant part of continuum variable radiation is emitted from the jet (about 0.4 pc from the nucleus) and ionizes the surrounding gas, creating an additional BLR which inputs into broad line emission. 1996-2006 observations of NGC 4151 show that in some periods narrow optical satellites of H and He broad emission lines may appear.
