This is a continuing effort of our sucessful project at both Gemini-N and Gemini-S. From cross-correlating the TYCHO-2 and IRAS catalogs we have found a sample of previously unknown warm IR excess stars. Warm IR excess emission at these stars is analogous to our Sun's zodiacal dust and is likely due to terrestrial planet building processes. Some of the most interesting dusty stars previously revealed by IRAS and Spitzer are characterized by warm excess emission. We propose to perform follow-up observations of remaining IRAS warm IR excess stars to help constrain the nature of the dust around our nearby sample of new excess stars. The most notable progress we made in our on-going project is the discovery of the new class objects: post-main sequence stars with a huge amount of dust (and gas mostly). Objects in the new class are likely currently going a 2nd generation of planet formation after several billion years after their initial formation. We are requesting T-ReCS photometric data for a handful of new class objects in addition to some main sequence stars with warm IR excess.
