Solar Microwave Bursts: Fine Structure
Scientific paper
With the solar radio spectrometers at Beijing Observatory at 1.0 - 2.0 GHz from 1994 to 1998 and at 2.6 - 3.8 GHz from Sep 1996 to Sep 1998 at Beijing Observatory 171 and 146 bursts have been registered at 1.0 - 2.0 GHz and 2.6 - 3.8 GHz, respectively, with a wealth of fine structures in time and frequency. The solar radio burst was recorded at the same time by the two spectrometers on April 15, 1998. Some new interesting results are found, such as a pair of microwave type III bursts and rich fast fine structures. The data of dynamic spectrogram of high temporal resolution and high quality were obtained.
