In this study we demonstrate how to analyze the solar eclipse data taken by a digital camera. We use the observations of a quiescent prominence obtained during the total solar eclipse on March 29, 2006 (Side, Turkey). Using the RGB signal of the white light emission and co-temporal H? spectra taken at Ondrejov Observatory, we derive the electron density, temperature and geometrical thickness of the studied prominence.
