The dependence of an asteroid's axial rotation rate on its diameter is studied as well as the dependence of its specific angular momentum on its mass. On the basis of these relationships, the asteroids can be divided into three groups which correspond to the varying degrees of influence that collisional evolution has on their axial rotation parameters. The combination of rotational velocities in each group can be described by the Bose-Einstein continuous distribution as a system with a varying number of quasi-particles.
