The following topics are considered: (1) A possible great meteor shower in connection with the returning of the dense part of the Leonid stream to perihelion in 1998 -2000. (2) Meteor bodies in the Earth's orbit (the system of Cyclid meteor bodies). (3) Meteor bodies inside the Earth's orbit (the system of the Eccentrid meteor bodies). It is shown that one of the reasons for the formation of such extremely small orbits of meteor bodies of a moderate or high eccentricity are close encounters of minor bodies with the earth and Venus.
