CHEOPS (CHemistry of Ozone in the Polar Stratosphere) III, planned for winter 1989/90, is part of a research project begun in 1987 to conduct field experiments in the winter Arctic stratosphere. The CHEOPS logistics and meteorology are described and the CHEOPS balloon flights, ground-based observations, and ozone observations are listed, giving individual experiments, measured species, principal investigators and institutions, and experimental sites or flight dates.
