A model is proposed for the optical properties of Venusian clouds which
allows for their actual chemical composition and microstructure.
Absorption and scattering indicatrixes have been calculated for the
various components of the Venus cloud cover. Variation of the optical
properties with the cloud cover depth is discussed.
