Abstract

Ionograms from three North American stations for the year 1958 have been analysed by an [`]overlay' method, similar to that of and (1964). Marked seasonal changes are found in a parameter G which is related to photochemical rates; these changes are part of the F-region seasonal anomaly, and may be caused by changes in atmospheric composition or temperature.
