Using archival data from the ACS COSMOS Survey and from the Extended Groth Strip, we propose to study the relation between light and mass for galaxies outto z = 1. We will use a powerful combination of lensing mass estimators by measuring the flexion and shear fields for these galaxies and couple that with measurements of their light profiles. Exploiting these data sets, we will trace the evolution of the relation between light and mass in 3 redshift bins, namely0.1 < z < 0.4; 0.4 < z < 0.7 and 0.7 < z < 1.0.;
