We present the old historical story and the new Suzaku observations on SN1006, The event of supernova explosion on May 1 1006, was recorded in the old Japanese diary Meigetsuki. The remnant of SN1006 has now become a good laboratory for the study of cosmic ray acceleration, After one millennium, the Japanese satellite Suzaku observed SN1006, and resolved the strong K emission lines from OVII (0.57 keV) and OVIII(0.65 keV) prevailing on the whole SN1006. From the flux ratio and the surface brightness of these two lines, we estimate the temperature and flux of the thermal emission from position to position. Then we separate the non-thermal emission and obtained the correlation between the thermal and non-thermal emission. Based on this correlation, we discuss the origin and mechanism of the non-thermal emission.
