Some feedback models suggest Reionization effectively extinguishes star formation in low mass galaxies. Yet, the brightest galaxies discovered at redshifts z~6 do not, alone, provide enough ionizing photons to maintain the ionization of the intergalactic medium. Accounting for all the ionizing photons requires a significant extrapolation of the galaxy luminosity function to fainter galaxies. To better constrain the properties of this star-forming population, we carried out a blind, spectroscopic Ly-alpha redshift survey at redshifts z~6 using the wide field IMACS f/2 spectrograph at Magellan. Among over 200 emission- line galaxies discovered, we identified interlopers via the presence of multiple emission lines or broad-band photometry (i.e. the paucity of a Lyman break). Roughly 10% of the sample passes these tests. We have recently obtained higher resolution spectra of these objects to constrain their physical properties. We will present our constraints on the galaxy luminosity function and discuss the properties of these Ly-alpha selected galaxies.
