The analysis deals with the motion of a dynamically symmetric body with respect to the center of mass near a collinear libration point of the restricted circular three-body problem. It is assumed that the periodic orbit of the body's center of mass constitutes an intercept of a line that passes through the libration point and is normal to the plane of rotation of the attracting masses. Two versions of steady rotations are identified in an orbital system of coordinates, and their stability is analyzed in the first approximation.
