The present volume on stellar interiors discusses microscopic physics in the solar standard model, steady and fluctuating parts of the sun's internal magnetic field, 2D helioseismic inversions, and asymmetry and periodicities in solar activity. Attention is given to energy distributions and fundamental parameters of six A stars, the influence of rotation on stellar parameters, a search for lithium in brown dwarf candidates, and the abundances of Vega from the UV spectrum. Topics addressed include the importance of molecular opacities in stellar atmospheres, the generation of internal waves, numerical simulation of 3D compressible convection, and an improved equation of state for hydrogen. Also discussed are measurements of masses and radii of eclipsing binaries, new evolutionary tracks of premain-sequence stars, Coulomb corrections and globular cluster stellar evolution, and seismological properties of intermediate-mass stars.
