Possible observable consequences of a superlight gravitino for high-energy reactions at the teraelectronvolt scale are investigated. At this scale, tree-level unitarity is found to break down for two-photon production of a pair of longitudinally polarized gravitinos. Results indicate that the cross section increases rapidly with energy, and should be measurable at around 100 GeV. It is suggested that a double tag search for the process e(+)e(-) to e(+)e(-) + 'nothing' in the 100-GeV range could raise the lower bound on the gravitino mass and make possible the detection of a superlight gravitino.
