Subarcsec resolution K-band images are presented of three ultraluminous IRAS galaxies: Arp 220, Mrk 273, and IRAS 15250+3609. A double nucleus is discovered in Mrk 273, bringing the total number of such objects to six of the 10 ultraluminous galaxies. The implications of these double nuclei are discussed in the context of galaxy mergers, the evolution of ultraluminous galaxies, and their relation to the formation of AGN.
