Experimental results are presented on artificial ionospheric turbulence (AIT) generated using radio transmission from the Gissar (Dushanbe) heating facility at pump-wave frequencies of 4-6 MHz. The frequency dependence of threshold powers of the striction self-defocusing of the pump wave and the generation of small-scale AIT is investigated along with variations of the dynamic and spectral characteristics of induced radio emission from the disturbed part of the ionosphere as a function of the pump-wave frequency.
