Some results of scalar-tetradic Theory A with likely applications to astrophysical problems are obtained. A brief description of the theory is given, and the tetrad used here to describe the static spherically symmetric case is chosen. The field equations are written in the form most adequate for solving, and a condition characterizing all the physical vacuum solutions describing the outer field of a standard perfect fluid sphere is obtained. Explicit solutions are derived and studied, and the existence of other unknown solutions is investigated.
