Preliminary results are presented of an experiment to observe the symmetry of gravitational radiation. Coincidence experiments have been carried out between a disc and a cylindrical gravitational radiation antenna, and between two cylindrical antennas. Observations find no evidence for a scalar component. The observed symmetry is that of Einstein's pure tensor field.
