The author relates the integral constraint vectors (ICVs) of Traschen to covariant constant sections of a connection at a hypersurface. He finds the conditions for ten linearly independent ICVs to exist as the vanishing of the curvature of this connection. The author interprets these conditions in terms of embeddability of the hypersurface in a space of constant curvature and he relates the ICVs to 3-surface twistors.
