The installation of seismographic instrumentation in a disused tunnel near Whiskeytown Dam, northwest of Redding, California is discussed. The seismometer is providing four channels of data telemetered to Berkeley for continuous recording. Two broadband velocity outputs along with two displacement signals record on magnetic tape. The installation is one of three broadband stations of the University of California in Northern California.
