The full system of perturbed equations for a slowly rotating convection zone is studied. The convection zone is treated as a medium with turbulent viscosity and turbulent thermal conductivity, the convective motions being driven by a superadiabatic temperature gradient. Under the assumption of small departures from adiabaticity, approximate perturbed equations are derived which describe only the convective mode. Results of a numerical calculation of unstable perturbations for configurations with a large density stratification are given.
