Using new calculations of several diagnostic O IV line intensity ratios in terms of electron density, together with the corresponding Skylab observations of the same source (Sandlin et al. (1977, 1984)), it is shown that an emitting region has a multidensity structure. Results of electron densities for various transitions, derived from theoretical line ratio curves using observed values, are presented in a tabular form and are compared with those reported by other authors using different observational data.
