A numerical model of beam-plasma discharge is presented which is based on the 1D theory of strong Langmuir turbulence generated by an electron beam injected into the plasma. Simulation results indicate that during a beam injection period the plasma density may exceed several times its initial value due to multiact ionization of the neutral gas by heated electrons.
