The work of Barker and O'Connell (1976) on the gravitational two-body post-Newtonian Lagrangian with spin and parameterized post-Newtonian parameters gamma and beta is generalized by adding acceleration-dependent spin terms corresponding to an arbitrary spin supplementary condition. For the purpose of constructing the corresponding Hamiltonian the method of the double zero (Barker and O'Connell, 1980 and 1984) is applied. Using this method, the acceleration-dependent spin terms are removed from the Lagrangian and, in the process, new nonacceleration-dependent terms are created. Use of this new Lagrangian makes it possible to construct the Hamiltonian corresponding to the arbitrary spin supplementary condition. Energy constants of the motion are also discussed.
