Spectroscopic observations of 12 previously unknown spectroscopic dwarf novae are discussed. CI UMa and MR Per could not be confirmed as dwarf novae. MR Per has the spectrum of a very late type main-sequence star with hydrogen emissions, and it may be a flare star with extremely slow flares. The CI UMa spectrum is not found to contain any emission line above the noise level. The absorption lines of the secondary stars for DX And and NS Per have been detected for the first time.
