The spectra of geomagnetic pulsations at Halley Bay indicate dominant periods in the 20-40 sec and 150-200 sec bands on all days with a variation in the shorter periods dependent on the K-index of magnetic activity. Comparison with results from a comparable observatory in the northern hemisphere indicate that the dominant shorter periods are similar but that there is no obvious correlation in the times of occurrence.
