This paper will describe the algorithm used to derive winds, temperatures and volume emission rates from TIDI measurements. Several atmospheric profiles are recovered simultaneously using a sequential technique. First, an initial estimate of the atmospheric state is obtained from each line-of-sight measurement separately. This estimate is then updated, one measurement at a time, using a full non-linear inversion. We will also discuss some details of the TIDI forward model, and provide an error analysis of the inverted quantities.
