We have over the years performed 3D simulations of the structuring of plasma patches in the high latitude ionosphere. Preliminary comparison with observational data has been very promisingg. The data generated for these simulations provide detailed information of the density and electric field irregularities in all three dimensions. We are currently developing diagnostics to analyse the data and render them in forms that can lead to detailed comparison with observations. We will present preliminary results on the development of these visualization modules.
