The intensity ratios of emission lines from the lithium-like ion O VI are calculated as a function of electron temperature using recent computations of collision strengths by Zhang, Sampson, and Fontes (1990). The line ratios are strongly dependent on temperature and are appropriate as a diagnostic of hot thin plasmas such as in the solar transition region and corona.
