Electromagnetism is coupled to torsion in a gauge invariant manner by
relaxing minimal coupling and introducing into the Lagrangian a term
bilinear in the electromagnetic field tensor and the torsion potential.
The resulting coupling between electromagnetism and torsion is examined
and a solution corresponding to traveling coupled waves is given.
