New findings on the dynamics of molecular clouds are reviewed. Research done on the stability, turbulence, and collapse of the clouds is discussed, and hierarchical and empirical relationships that have been found are summarized. The possibility that molecular flows can stabilize the clouds is addressed, and observational findings on the central region of the Galaxy are examined.
