The theory of space photogrammetry for TV and radar panoramas is considered with reference to the principle of angle measurement from the projection centers. Attention is also given to the transformation of space photographs to the planetocentric coordinate system, and to least-squres models in photogrammetry. Particular emphasis is placed on Soviet experience with the radar mapping of the Venus surface.
