Digital analysis of telescopic spectral-zonal photographs of a full Moon was performed. Two-dimensional scatter diagrams were constructed from the albedo - color plot and subjected to cluster analysis. The spatial distribution of optically typical regions over the lunar disk was determined. The optical representativeness of 13 space-probe landing regions whence lunar-rock samples were obtained or where remote investigations of the regolith (the standard sections were ≍120 km2 in size) were performed was investigated. The overall albedo and color representativeness of the landing locations does not exceed 10% for the lunar disk.
