Photoionization cross-sections of the ground states of Al+, Si2+ and S4+ are calculated in a 7-state close-coupling approximation. Resonances are shown to be important in the region close to the ionization threshold although the background contribution is found to be in good agreement with previous results. Oscillator strengths for the principal series are also presented and compared with other theoretical determinations.
