Quark And Lepton Masses And Mixing
Scientific paper
In the limit of a zero neutrino mass, a small violation in gravitational universality can give rise to neutrino oscillations in the solar interior. The implications of such massless neutrino oscillations are discussed in the context of the solar neutrino problem, and it is shown that current experiments appear to rule out this paradigm. Measurements of the solar neutrino energy spectrum, to be obtained by detectors currently under construction, should be able to confirm this conclusion.
