We propose to obtain spectra of periodic Comets Encke, Tsuchinshan 1, and Tuttle-Giacobini-Kresak (T-G-K). We propose to study the perihelion asymmetry of Comet Encke by combining post-perihelion data from this apparition with preperihelion data from the 1980 apparition. We propose to look for chemical anomalies, in T-G-K, a comet known to exhibit unusual outbursts. We propose one survey observation of Tsuchinshan 1.
