A systematic search for meteorites was carried out in the vicinity of Frontier Mountain in Antarctica. The 256 meteorite fragments found appeared to have been wind-blown across the blue-ice field and trapped in an ice depression and the larger fragments on the surface may have been transported down to the mountain edge. The search site is described and the meteorite concentration mechanism is discussed. A search for meteorites at Sequence Hills was unsuccessful. It is suggested that only a minor portion of the meteorites deposited in the Frontier Mountain area has been recovered.
