We present a derivation of the solution of the Einstein-Weyl equations
in the Bianchi V cosmological spacetime. The solution is derived by
using the earlier results for plane-symmetry. In the limit when the
anisotropic Bianchi V model goes over into the isotropic model the
gravitational field collapses to zero.
