Radial velocities derived from image-intensifier spectrograms of the RRS Lyrae star V65 Cen and the EA (Algol-type) eclipsing binary V78 Cen are examined to determine whether these variable stars are members of the globular cluster Omega Cen. It is found that on the average V65 Cen has a radial velocity of +4.8 km/s, as compared with the cluster velocity of +238 km/s; this star is classified as a Galactic field dwarf Cepheid. A foreground reddening of approximately 0.02 magnitude and a distance of about 1.4 kpc are estimated for V65 Cen. An average radial velocity of approximately -34.3 km/s, a foreground reddening of no more than 0.1 magnitude, and a distance of about 2.4 kpc are obtained for V78 Cen, which is shown not to be a member of Omega Cen.
