Rotational perturbations of the Robertson-Walker metric are considered in order to provide a general solution to the slowly rotating field equations for a viscous fluid. Analytical solutions to the homogeneous and isotropic cosmological models are obtained by using the energy-momentum tensor for an imperfect fluid and the nonvanishing bulk viscosity coefficient. It is assumed that the only interaction is that of gravitation, that the space time of the equilibrium of the configuration is axially symmetric, and that the perturbation is of slow and uniform rotation.
