The paper reports simultaneous determination of two Mn-line equivalent widths, continuum intensity, and the longitudinal magnetic field component. Data were obtained in area scans with a multichannel magnetograph. Relations involving four parameters are developed for the network elements, and, on the basis of some assumptions, an expression is obtained which connects true temperature perturbation in the line forming layers of the network to true longitudinal field strength. The results indicate some constraints upon possible network models.
