A brief description is given of the Prognoz-4 differential electron spectrometer, designed on the basis of solid-state detectors. Results are illustrated by the example of electron-intensity variations in five energy intervals from 0.3 to 3.0 MeV, observed in near-magnetospheric space. Energy spectra, averaged over 38 hours, are presented for interplanetary electrons in the 0.5-3.0 MeV range.
