The Pade (2, 2) approximant technique is used in an approximate analytical solution to the field equations of general relativity for time-independent, spherically symmetric systems in which the pressure and density are related by a polytropic equation of state. Tabulations are presented for both the boundary values of coordinate radius for polytropic indices n equals 0, 1.0(0.5)3.0, and the values of the physical parameters mass, density concentration, and the ratio of gravitational radius to coordinate radius for n values of 0 and 1.
