In this paper results of a reanalysis of the muon flux observed with the Fréjus-Detector are presented. For the first time three independent measurements of the flux of downgoing muons are combined to a consistent picture. Measured is the fraction of stopping muons, separately in the contributions of atmospheric and neutrino-induced muons. The angle- and energy-dependence of the atmospheric muons is examined and the quality of the derived spectral index is discussed in dependence on the knowledge of the muon energy loss.
