The effect of the time-dependent electron injection current on changes in the plasma electron concentration in the vicinity of a spacecraft is investigated as a possible method of generating ionospheric disturbances with specified characteristics. It is shown that temporal and spatial changes in the plasma electron concentration are determined by the intensity and the variability law of the injection current and by experimental conditions. Thus, by varying the law of injection current changes, it is possible to obtain a medium with specified properties around a spacecraft.
